Eco Heat/Cool keeps turning on

Had my ECU refreshed as per the service bulletin. Now, every time I get in my car and start it, the Eco heat cool option is activated on my climate control and I have to manually turn it off. Anyone else notice this?

I had mine turned off through Amazon purchased tool that discussed in another thread. No issues with eco after ecu. Interestingly i haven't had auto stop activated after ecu... maybe because it was cold here

You’re referring to the Launch scanner. There is no reason they would turn that on? I’ve had it off via the climate control screen since I had the truck…weird.

I’m at a loss why this keeps defaulting to on. There is nothing in the manual or Google search either.

Some quick observations…
If I start the truck on Comfort or Eco drive mode select it reverts the HVAC to ECO HEAT/COOL.
If I start the truck on normal drive mode select The Eco/heat cool option is turned off but as soon as I turn the drive mode select to either comfort or Eco mode select the Hvac Eco cool option turns back on. I wonder if with the new ECU update it goes by the mode select now because it has to do with fan speed and gas savings????

I had mine updated yesterday. The eco heat/cool only turns on when you select eco drive mode. It starts up in normal mode - no issues for me. Operates just like when I took it in.

Even if you start your LX in comfort mode it does not revert to eco heat cool? Just confirming.

Correct - only in ECO mode will it revert to the eco climate.
