Ebay: 4BTA powered Blazer / Jimmy in Oregon

Not mine but had to go check it out, 700r4, motor seemed very tight despite some external rust. Drove nice. Might be cheaper than buying the tranny/motor adapter/motor alone. My yard is full.

Where is the rust...?? Engine, body, chassis.
Do you know the history of the 4BT ??
Pics looked clean except for peeling paint....????

Body looked fine-some rust on the motor exterior, must have been from back east. Owner said it had 67k according to the person he bought it from. It started up instaneously, probably better than the two 4BTs in my possession.. Like I said, not mine but that is what I observed.

Looks like it was a quick auction- didn't notice that. Tough times.

Anybody really interested? I know he has over $4k into the motor and tranny(rebuilt with diesel shifty-thingy in it) and I think a beefed up torque converter....
I just got off the phone with him and will tell him yea or nay tomorrow night. He made me an offer I might not be able to refuse. PM me if you want his #
