Eaton E-Lockers vs. ARB Lockers

If confirmed, that would certainly sway me.

Have searched for info on this, but I still know nothing about OEM sourcing for the new Tacos. My guess is that there are likely some differences between "factory" installed elockers and our aftermarket versions. The earlier factory elockers had actuators that were/are different from aftermaket Harrop/Eatons.

As I understand it, some of the differences include external actuators/solenoids, sensors to signal back to dash indicator/switch, etc.

The Harrop/Eaton item we stock is entirely internal to the axle housing and are well nigh bulletproof.

Well, if Eaton doesn't produce it, then Toyota copied it. The new Taco uses an electromagnetic actuator that is internal to the diff. It sure as heck looks just like the Eaton unit.... The only major difference I can see is that there is a sensor that shows when the magnet moves the cam into the locked position.
