Holy underwear! BK, Dozier, and John bailing ! Sheriff murdered! Innocent women and children blown to bits! We have to protect our phoney baloney jobs here, gentlemen! We must do something about this immediately! Immediately! Immediately! Harrumph! Harrumph! Harrumph!

I want rustlers, cut throats, murderers, bounty hunters, desperados, mugs, pugs, thugs, nitwits, halfwits, dimwits, vipers, snipers, con men, Indian agents, Mexican bandits, muggers, buggerers, bushwhackers, hornswogglers, horse thieves, bull dykes, train robbers, bank robbers, ass-kickers, s***-kickers and Methodists.

:pig: Sorry it just seemed appropriate for some Blazing Saddles interjection :pig:

Pig run

Well I hope most of the old faces and lots of new ones show up for the pig run, but whoever makes it will enjoy it. I'm writing this Tuesday afternoon from Reno NV, ou here on vacation visiting my brother and family. Got to spend Saturday on the Rubicon and enjoyed it immensely. Lotsa land cruisers and 4Runners and solid axle trucks out here being driven daily.
In any event I plan to camp at Rausch Thursday night, and wheel the piggy both Friday and Saturday.

John Smith- come on, make the trip!

See you guys this weekend. Gary S

Damn, just took a look at the weather myself. I'm also not up for a rainy weekend and will opt out if the forecast doesn't improve by this afternoon.

Highs in the mid 70's 20% chance o'rain Friday and 40% chance on Saturday. Could be much hotter and wetter this time of year

just loaded the trailer.all ready for tomorrow.wish me luck. i hope we will make it this time without any problems.see u all tomorrow at rausch. will bring some good polish beer. and who is getting mickeys if john is not coming:bounce:

I'm still in, just not with the pig. Heck I'll be better off there than at the Jersey shore with this storm limping up the coast!

Put Pigwald on the charger this AM, dead as could be. It looks like it'll be a wet one, but I'll be heading out in a few hours. Probably should check the wiper blades  they'll be seeing a lot of use.

Pig run Friday update

Well I'm here to tell you we wheeled at rauch Creek today. Four hardy and dedicated trucks showed for the first day of the pig run. Disappointing turnout but that didn't stop us from enjoying the day. Tom and Carl in Tom's 40. Tom and Amy from CT in their FJ Cruiser, Rollback Dan in his very capable 4Runner and my piggy. Weather was overcast all day with very light drizzle from time to time. We did Snakebite and trail 21 which was very slippery being on the side of the hill, along with a few other trails. No damage other than a broken taillight on the FJ Cruiser and Tom having to replace a Heim joint in his track bar. We played in the rocks near the staging area after exiting the main park about 3:45. Tom and Carl, and Dan and son are camping at rausch, Tom and Amy are down with Miss Judy at Camp-a-while.

Hope we get a decent turnout tomorrow the weather is supposed to be partly cloudy. More tomorrow.

Did I forget the two 27 inch Sony TV's that are being giving away as raffle prizes? Gary S

Sounds like a great first day! Hope everyone stays dry and I'll see ya tomorrow!

Nice job Dan; I like the more aerodynamic windshield look.

well it rolled onto the driverside then on to its roof the pass. side damage was from rolling it back over

.......

well we got it running with some spark plugs and changing the oil and we have the roof almost back into some what of its original shape

Nobody told me there was a raffle! Tell Dan to just use a vacuum the next time he wants to clean his truck out.
