Hey there,

My name is McGuire, and this summer I am going to be making the transition from Austin, Tx to Ft. Collins since I am transferring to CSU.

I just wanted to get a gauge on what kind of wheeling is available up there, and how much you guys get out as a group!

I have a lot planned for my cruiser before the maiden voyage up to the beautiful state of Colorado... In the next month I am going to be swapping out my 2f for a 12h-t in preparation for the high altitudes and smog testing, and well also because I have been dreaming about having turbo diesel power in my rig for a few years now! On a side note, has anyone dealt with the diesel emissions testing in ft. collins?

Also what kind of tires do you guys recommend? My 35s are finally wearing out, and I am going to be making the jump to 37s. I am looking at the Goodyear MT/Rs and have found a pretty good deal on a brand new set. Do any of you guys run this tire? If so, how does it perform in the snow/ icy conditions?

Anyways... I'm exited to meet some new cruiser heads this summer, and to get out and explore Colorado!

Here is a pic of my rig:

Welcome McGuire! You will love Ft C and CSU!
I have 0 experience with the Goodyear MTRs, but I can say that my friend owns Nelsen's Auto Tech, and they do diesel emissions all the time. They have a full dyno.
Thank you!

And thanks for the heads up on the diesel emissions.

A few things happened last week, and I might have to hold off transferring for another year... I will know in the coming month if I still can.

Regardless I will be making a few trips up there for some wheeling since my girlfriends parents live in Loveland!

Well sadly I am going to be staying in Austin for a while guys... Sorry for jumping the gun with the post. I hope to meet up and wheel with you guys in the future!
