Need early heater core for 1964 FJ40/45

Do you have a picture of your heater? Some time in the second half of 64 Toyota started offering a factory installed heater. Most 64 production 40/45 will have a aftermarket heater. Have a few what are considered 65-67 model factory heaters. One is parts minus the core and back and two that are complete.

John@livinginthepast, looks factory to me, matches the ones I have had in my other 40’s so maybe a later core will work.

No possible way to measure your core?

I know right where E-67 loose heater is. Could pull the back off and measure the heater core.

I installed a '77 heater core in a '65 Toyota heater and just used a bit of extra foam around the perimeter of the core, since it was fractionally smaller.

That’s what we heard will work, a little extra foam to keep it from rattling, end up ordering a new old stock one.
