No shipping so wouldn't do me any good. Besides only one cruiser a year is my limit. It called a 1958 production date, registered in 1959 but the VIN starting with 0 it would make it a 1960 production date. I thought the models with just the cowl forward and frame in the longer wheel base were the FJ28s. It too bad too because I have a spare transfer case to put in it and get it running again. Would be great to use with stakes added to the tray for getting fire wood besides with that bumper I wouldn't have to worry about any elk that got in my way with that bumper.

Edit I just notice it doesn't have the orginal bezel.

Finally got a chance to study the pictures. Really cool find. Interesting that the longer frame FJ28 didn't have a different frame number. I'd like a trayback someday.

Year is definately wrong, the frame number puts it after all mine in 1960. Motor number is way off...........wonder if it came off the block because it's about 100,000 higher than it should be.

What's wrong with the bezel, it shouldn't have one. :flipoff2:

Seems to be a lot of 25's in Australia that get a treatment of lights up high, usually in the top corners of the bib.

You cant buy it Jim, its not in consecutive order with your frame numbers. Sorry...

:) But if 28's didn't use a different numbering system, my middle one could be a 28............................... :D

wish i had the time and space to do it justice... would make an awesome tow rig for my fj40 basher
