dune beige for 2008?

Can anyone confirm that Dune Beige is the new color for 2008? Heard that cherry is going away as well.

That's the rumor. The only thing I've been able to confirm is there will be a retro color. There is also a rumor of "brick". The Warn ad has a red one, but they repainted it on their own.


Desert Tan/Dune beige... We'll see.

There is going to be Dune and Red..Production should start in July...I will be getting rid of my black ASAP...

They should have done the Dune tan the first year out. It's a classic color. I bought Black Cherry because it does look cool, but if they had the tan color, there would be no question I would have went with it.

I hate when vehicle manufacturers do that kind of thing.

I think after Toyota saw how nice Ghramm's FJ turned out repainted in Dune, they probably thought it would be a good idea to offer it.

I would have got it instead of silver if they offered it then.

I hope all of you have seen his rig, it looks nice repainted.

I've seen his repainted Cruiser, and it looks awesome. I might repaint mine later... but I also want to add wood trim to the interior around the dash and doors. Then that's me...

Dune Beige/Desert Sand/Tan is to replace Black Cherry and
Red with White top will be the TRD SE color.

According to a Regional Toyota Rep.

manufacturers know all too well the psychology of color and the fact that someone would sell a car and buy the same thing just to have a different color... kind of like having a pair of the same boots but a different color.. then they come out with the removable top?
