i ordered new 35s :Dgood bye 31s 8)
anywho i have bent up arms from W and the 31s i have now barly clear the TRES but im afriad with the 35s they will rub so should i go with 3.75 back spacing? and does anyone know where to get the cheapest steel wheels(that will fit). i dont really care what color they, i would prefer black ones but if i get a white set ill just spray em black. does anyone also know if you get the those wheels from summit you get free shipping?
thanks

Not sure on the 60's but I have 3.5" bs rims w/35's on my 40 and they clear fine. I had 4" bs rims and they were damn close to the TREs. I would think that anywhere from a 3-3.5" bs is what you would want. Gives you a little more width to counter the new height of the rig. that's just my $0.02

I would shoot for a 3.5" b/s wheel..

Guess I do not know what you are eluding to as far as the Summit comment goes...

Good luck!

Good luck!

dude, gnarly man i like totally missed it bra....sorry (point break)

I bet that someone is still answering the phones there right now....

Just a thought.

If you go with 2" backspace you won't have TRE clearance issues and you get the added stability of a wider track width.

will 2" back spacing still fit tho?

Unique makes a white spoke in 3.75(but fits better than most 3.5's) for $30 I think, I run them on my fj45 with 35's. rattle can em black :D

ok i called up SUMMIT and they can give me free shipping and a black wheel for 38 bucks a pop but the problem is that i can only get 3.75 back spacing and i need at least 3.5 because the stock back spacing is 3.5 and it barly clearing the TRE with my bent up arms and 31s. because what im thinking is that a 35 inch tire is going to have more side wall flex and rub my TREs to death anytime i hit a bumb or under a lower inflation than street. so does anyone know where i can get a 1/4 inch wheel spacer either to buy one or to have one made.(south florida is useless as far as parts go).
thanks

This is totally unrelated, but how are you going to fit your 60 in the garage with 35's? It looks close with 31's.

The rack is going to have to come off. My 55 with 35s fits by 1/8th and I had modify the garage door a bit to get that wiggle room! Good luck

I agree with Hammerhead, the stability is what you need. I have a 40 and I'm changing to 2.5 backspacing. With the weight of a 60 you need that extra stability. I think 4Wheel Parts has black 2.5 backspaced rims for 29$ each. Just a thought.

Has 4wheel parts whoresalers started selling them again?

Last I talked with them, they gave me some cock and bull story about wheel manufactures being sued, and blah blah blah...
