Dual Battery Set-up for 2000 LX with AHC

I have tried several search options and haven't had any luck in finding a detailed thread describing installing a dual battery setup on a vehicle with AHC. I have seen Slee's LX470 with dual batteries but he doesn't advertise a option to purchase a kit. Any help from my fellow ACHers would be helpful.

Google dual Optima battery tray. There are several generic ones out there that many people use in projects, particularly Jeep guys. I've never seen a bolt-in plug and play kit for the 100 LC, so you will be on your own for some final fitment and testing. As Slee show, there is room there for two Optimas or similar size batteries.

there is a thread here in the 100 series section some place of some one that did a dual set-up in the stock location. I havnt seen it in a long time though. Ill dig around and see what I can find.

This is the thread I was talking about as well using the generic dual battery tray from Ruff Stuff for $83. Couple easy mods to make the tray fit and away you go! Just need to find two batteries you like that fit the tray. The tray is made for two Optima 34, or two 15x10.125 size batteries.
