Was given the keys by the sales manager early this morning for both a loaded yellow C package 6 spd and a silver B package auto. Both my wife and I took turns at the wheel and had big smiles on our faces as we watched people almost drive off the road trying to get a good look at this unusual vehicle. We both love the FJ!!! - probably the most fun driving vehicle I have ever tried! Felt like driving a ''little tank'' with the chopped windshield. With all the negative comments on the blind spots and poor visibility , I was prepared for the worst, however I didn't really feel it was that bad, it'll just take some time to get used to using the mirrors more. I've driven panel vans before with no windows whatsoever on the the side and just got used to using my mirrors. After comparing the 6 speed and the auto , this confirmed our decision on the auto. My unit wasn't in the first allotment this week , so after a computer search found out it will have a start build date this Tuesday and won't arrive till about mid-April or first part of May.Was hoping to have it sooner but guess I can wait a few more weeks.Have decided on a silver C package with auto . Nice!
I ordered the silver one.

Someone should photoshop my face in the one you are in, at least then I can see myself in one :grinpimp:

My dealer does not have any in yet, well they had one Thursday and it sold right away.
I am dying to sit in one and drive it.

I am quite happy with the silver and manual. Kingsway in Edmonton had six. They were going to keep two as demos. No way they are all gone. The next group is coming in April and they are all spoken for. Ontario dealers have been calling to see if they can redirect a few extras out their way. No such luck.
Good for you on getting a build number. I waited ten months, the anticipation will serve to widen the grin when you do drive it home.
