Hi all i have a stock salsa red 08gx - is there anything available aftermarket suspension wise that can function/adjust from factory stock height down to say 2-3 inch drop on all 4 corners?

Willing to do the rear coil over swap while I’m at it. Primary function for this truck is dd and road trip rig. Yes it’s the opposite of what’s done typically but I like the aesthetics of a lowered daily that I can adjust back to stock height come road trip time without swapping chopped springs if possible - any thoughts or recommendations is appreciated - it was due to mud that I got into a 100 cruiser and have now progressed on to an 08gx thanks

Haven’t seen any lowering springs for the GX but it hasn’t been on my radar. Maybe look in the club Lexus forum since it’s not off road oriented. Good luck and great color!

I think you’d have to get a kit from japan, install a conversion kit with new rear springs and then cut them, or have a custom shop do some kind of airbag arrangement. But I don’t think it is worth doing because it won’t look that great with the body proportions. If you’re wanting something lowered I’d say do it to a different truck or get a subaru.

If you do insist to go down this route remember that 4runner and fj cruiser parts should work. Also note that you will require camber adjustments meaning maybe custom parts or modifications to get the tires squared up and avoid weird tire wear.

This is the only one I found... doesn’t really do it for me. What do you think?
