I learn new, silly things about my cars every day. My wife was driving the GX, and I was in front of her in my other car. As usual, I'm giving the GX the once over in the mirrors and visually to make sure everything's as it should be. (Plus it's just such a cool rig to stare at). Notice that there's no DRL on. Figure, oh well, we just changed out a dead battery, must have reset to turn them off. Nope, they were enabled in the settings menu. In the whole battery replacement process, she had turned the light stalk switch to "Off" instead of it's normal "Auto" position. This disabled DRL. Switched it to "Auto" and on pop the DRL's. Is that normal operation? Seems like it kind of defeats the purpose of DRL's.

I keep mine on all the time except when the car wash guys get through with my rig. I have to check that all my lights and wipers are in the proper position again.

I do too. I'm going to leave this thread up as a reminder of my intermittent idiocy. Anytime y'all are feeling down, just read this thread..
