drivers window issue

2003....My drivers window will not go up or down automatically manually no problem, I tried the 3 & 10 second hold on up and down but still not working...any ideas?

Did it used to work? I say that because the aftermarket replacements do not have the auto up down feature as the factory.

I vaguely recall someone using TechStream (do a search, there is a huge thread and a few others) to reprogram theirs to make this work, but I've never experienced this issue on any of my three 100s ('99, '03 and '99).

shmelvin, I am in the same situation w my sons 04 LC. We just removed the d/s door panel and I was able to get the window back on its track.
Question for you, How do you manually roll up or down window? His was stuck down and off the track.
I’ve read that cleaning the plug terminals helps for a wile but ours looked really clean. I haven’t tried that yet, But I’m stuck for now. Was thinking of replacing the door window motor next so I’m going to research more as it’s hard to access it.

No manual operation, Thought I’d answer my own question. Just realized it only means not using the auto on window controls. Be great though if it is possible temporarily although I read somewhere they used a 2x4 to prop window up?

my issue was a broken switch, the rocker broke i fixed it with epoxy and now it works fine
