Driver’s side carpet not laying flat

2021 LC. Just noticed the carpet under the gas and brake pedals is bulging and not laying flat. When I press the skinny pedal to the floor, it presses against the carpet bulge then makes a “pop” sound as the carpet bulges back out.

I tried pressing the bulges down with my hand, but the entire carpet in that area is loose and doesn’t lay flat. Anyone else have this issue? Doesn’t seem normal since the fit and finish on rest of the truck is excellent.

You might try warming it up with a hair dryer, press the bulge out.
