Driver Window Rattle

This has been going on for a long time and I am ready to do something about it.

My driver side window rattles like crazy when it is down. It must be out of its track or something. It also makes some popping noises when I roll it up.

I have never taken the panel off of the front doors. Do you think this is something I can fix on my own? If not, dealer or shop?

warranty? Is it the 05?

It is the 05. I hadn't thought about warranty.... Plan on going by Toyota anyway as I need some oil and air filters.

My only problem with trying to fix this myself if that most likely the window will need to be actuated to really see/fix the problem. Since the electrical unplugs to take the panel off, this is an issue.

it is very simple to take off the door panel, and regarding the electrical issue, you can plug it back in once you have the panel off.

Dealer wants $98 to take the panel off!

Probably looking to do this myself this weekend.

ummm yeah f that. Look in the FAQ under speaker swap and it has detailed instructions on it. Took about 10 minutes the first time to do, now I can do it in a couple.
