Hey all - installing a single ARB roller-drawer into the back of the 80...was thinking this was a simple bolt in using the existing 3rd row holes (where the locking plates are), however that only appears to be the case for the forward mounting location while the instructions indicated drilling is required for the aft-most mounting location? The instructions are a little confusing as well since it seems to indicate that drilling is only necessary for 5-seat models but then the diagram and directions go on to say drill a 10mm hole to install the rear “B” mounts for both 5 & 7-seat models. Posted wording & diagram below, just want to confirm before I start drilling...Thanks all!

When you drill out the holes do you tap them or is it just a washer and nut from the underside of the truck ?

Not gonna lie - these instructions suck.

So the online document on install gives 2 conflicting spacer sizes for the 80 for hat position A :

I assume this is 5 seat vs 7 seat - The paper instructions that came with the drawers agree with the 15mm spacing for hat position A for the 7 seat. However it says you don't remove the decorative trim strip - which the above from the online docs says to remove in both cases.....

The online docs say you only need to drill out the 2 holes that are where the tie down mounts were - the paper docs say to drill out all 4 mounts to 10mm.....

I suppose it'll become clear as I start the install - I'll post back here with my findings to clear it up for the next poor bastard....

I had to enlarge the holes slightly and used a fender washer on the bolts. Easy enough to do.

When I installed my ARB drawers I redrilled the frame and moved the cross support so it lined up with the existing threaded holes instead of drilling the holes in the floor.

All done.

Follow the plan for the spacing on the “Hats” which is what the call the crossbars.

You don’t need to drill out the front mount points at all - it just bolts up to the seat mount anchor point you took out in the early stages by the instructions.

Drill out the rear anchor mounts which are the tie down point with a 10mm drill bit. I sprayed some farm black paint to protect it from rust.

Also contrary to the downloaded instructions do not break off the trim - I did on one side and it was incorrect.

Where it got tricky is they said to use the 60mm bolts which are not threaded all the way. Ignore that and use the M10x50mm On all 4 mount points. The M10x60mm has a different thread pitch than the 50mm bolts and does bad things to the M10 nyloc nuts.

I used the M6 rear most anchors on mine, opting not to drill out. Nobody's died yet.

I agree the instructions aren't the best tho.
