Looking at designing a or finding plans that suit my needs a single drawer system. I want it to be able to throw a mattress on top so the drawer would have to be the same height as the back seats folded down. And the drawer needs to be strong enough to hold me or another person at once. One thing I'm wondering about is how will I keep the box in place without having to drill holes in the floor? Could I just make the box wide enough that it'll wedige between wheel wells? Pics and plans are welcomed! :)

Thanks,
Nick

Jim's Drawer system plans.

The actual plans are on his site -- follow the link on that page to his realcruiser site for the plans.

I have a question for you, with laying something across the back of the folded down seat, wont this make the back of the seats material loose and stretched, kind of like how the back of the seat looks when you kids keep pushing on the back with their knees? When the kids did this in my other ride the back of the seat got all streched out.
Just something I was wondering about.

The African Outback Drawer System like Slee sells, requires removing some of the attachment points for the seats and such and using these spots for securing it.

I wouldnt' think it would be too ahrd on the seats with an air mattress but then again I could be wrong.
