Am currently designing drawers for the hundy and my trailer. I have come across two versions of 3/4" birch, solid and ply. The ply is less expensive but does it have enough strength to handle the drawers. Assembly will be completed with a kreg pocket jig and glue. Thanks.

Cabinet grade ply should have more strength than comparable solids. Don't think twice. If you go with a double-drawer setup, the 21" width is way under what 3/4" can span. Just make sure to use construction adhesive along with your anchors to keep it from chattering.
