I have been a subscriber to this dude's YouTube channel for a while. He does some cool stuff. And makes it all look easy.

I may have watched this earlier at *work*. He certainly doesn't have the same skill set as DiResta but I can still appreciate some of his projects. I definitely did have higher hopes for a more complicated or ornate build like what we usually see here on mud. I know everything doesn't need to be super fancy but I still had hoped for something more.

For me this project doesn't pass the function over form test though. The rear cabinet that is only accessible via a lift lid would be way too much of a hassle to access while camping or while out and about. I know you can stick stuff in there that you wouldn't need often but with the space that big and open I would certainly want and need to stick regular use things in there. It just seemed like the drawers were too small (short) to actually use on a camp trip.

That is just personal preference though. Changing the drawer sizes doesn't change how everything was built. Adjust cuts, change hinges for heavier duty ones if necessary. My steel tool cabinet only has 100 lb slides and it's full of steel hand tools and power tools. These 500 lb slides people seem to like are way overkill.
