How many different styles are there on the 100?

I realize the front and rear diff drain and fill are the same crush washers. The oil drain plug is a flat washer and so are the transfer case ones. Are the transfer case washers the same flat washer as the oil drain?

3 styles.

Crush washers for the diffs.

Flat washers for the xfer case...I think the difference between washers here is that the crush washers are sealing against cast iron, while the flat washers seal against aluminum.

Diffs and xfer case use, I think, 18mm washers...but I've never checked, I just get 'em at Toyota

Oil pan and trans drain plugs use thin, 12mm washers with a rubber coating.

I use a torque wrench to reinstall all of them...no ideal what a stripped xfer case housing would cost, but it would definitely ruin my day.

Related: Pay heed to the torque spec for the ATF drain plug/bolt! I discovered a few years ago its prudent to have an extra plug/bolt on hand just in case.

12x1.25mm, maybe 15-20mm long.

A pair live in my toolbox in the back. ;)
