I have talked two friends into the factory spacer on their 200s: one 2019 and one 2020HE without the third row. I have looked at both installations and wondered if it was possible to stack two spacers for a slightly taller lift on my '21 HE. Both vehicles show enough thread at the top of the struts....

Also spoke with a shop to fabricate a thicker spacer using the CAD file provided by @ArnieC DIY OEM 43136-60020 Strut Spacers - https://forum.ih8mud.com/threads/diy-oem-43136-60020-strut-spacers.1152375/

Thoughts?

The approach would need to take shock length into consideration.

Normally, the front suspension is limited in uptravel by the two stops mounted to the frame that engage the lower control arm (LCA). The concern in spacing the shock body lower is that it may become the first point of contact to limit uptravel - something it's not designed to do. That will destroy things in quick order.

The question is how much margin the shock body has to be spaced down further before finding the limit. There's a chance Tundra shock spacers could work too instead of stacking OEM spacers.

Uptravel concerns could be mitigated by spacing the normal stops down a bit with washers or aftermarket bump stops.

you can use Tundra spacers, but you will need to specify the center hole diameter. the stock LC shock "top hat" that connects the shock to the truck is wider than the tundra. i machined a set to work the first time i had my Icons in for rebuild.

the stock springs were very soft and the truck wallowed when accelerating through a turn. i wouldn't recommend tall spacers for a permanent solution, without stiffer springs or aftermarket shocks.

Are you sure there is enough thread? Keeping in mind there should be threads exposed past the nut to get a truly strong fastening system.. from memory I don’t remember seeing 12mm or more protruding past the end of the nut when I had my single spacers in.

On my 21 HE I wouldn't risk double stacking. There is not much thread above the nut left with the initial spacer install.

If someone really wants to try this someone makes a thicker spacer and sells them as a kit with longer studs. No need to stack OEM ones.

Shock length and bottoming issues teckis mentioned would apply.
