1993 HZJ73 w power locks.
A week or so ago I went to press the passenger side door lock rod down (the button at the top of the door that goes up and down when you lock/unlock), and it literally cannot be pressed down. It has maybe 1/4” of play, but that’s about it. As a result, the door cannot be locked. Needless to say using the electric switch on the driver side does nothing either. Other than this, door works as normal.
I’m not super familiar with door lock mechanisms, and when I opened up the door I figured it would be easy to see but there was nothing obviously broken - doesn’t help that it’s inside the door and really hard to see.
Figured I’d ask here before I start replacing parts.
