Last week I had a series of weird symptoms on my LX450:

- Faint buzzing when driver door open, coming from the alarm normally for leaving the key in the ignition and opening the door.
- Ignition ring light turned on while driving
- Door ajar light on dash faintly illuminated with all doors closed
- Dome light LED faintly turned on in DOOR mode with all doors closed

This was coupled with some very wet snowy spring weather for about 24 hours. Now the weather is dry and everything is back to normal so I can't troubleshoot easily. Any ideas on this?

Bad door sensor?

Would explain dash bulb, dome light, door card bulbs. Also dead battery if left to sit for an extended period of time.

I’ve had them intermittently function too. Annoying.

$25 new, one per door.

I guess it wouldn't hurt to try but I don't see how that would cause the ignition right light to come on while driving, or the door chime when the door is open (but with no key)

Your ignition cylinder could be a likely culprit too.
It’s relatively common for the ignition to fail contacts/stay on, would slowly drain battery as well, if there was intermittent contact inside.

Do your door locks unlock if you try to lock them? Mine was doing that and the light on the dash would come on. Figured out it was the driver rear door sensor. I superglued a nickel to the door which pushed the sensor in the additional thickness of the nickel and it fixed it.
