Hello. I am writing about dome light problem. I see that this problem is around globe on all the toyotas, but there is no solution for that one problem.

I have 2 HDJ 100. And i have the same problem on both of them. But little difference, older one toyota has problem on middle, 2nd row passenger seat.

Newer toyota on 3rd row seat.
Both cars have the same problem. When i put dome light to ON, it is working on 100%. When its OFF it is OFF. But when its on DOOR, it is still on but maybe on 50% power. others light works w/o problems.

Why this happened? Because i put LED lights in to the dome light. I am 100% right LED bulbs cause it.

On older toyota, i wanted to find solution 2 year ago, but i cant. I tryed put out BCM, change dome light relay, more other things, but nothing work. Now i can change 3rd row seat dome light between toyota, so i know, there is no problem in dome switch. But there is problem somewhere else.

Maybe someone have clue where to look?

I found some opinions on internet like body ecu, some computer above radio, grounding, wiring?
Whatyouthink?

Hello,
Little update.
On older toyota i had problem with blowing seat heater fuse. It blown every time i turn around with a key. There was no need for turn on the seat heater. But one time i forgot to take key from ignition, and when i was changing the fuse for seat heater, its shorted, and now is problem somewhere else, because it is not working and it is not blowing the fuse. I checked every fuse from diagram, but they are ok.

I am thinking about that, maybe problem with door lights and seat heater is in the same location?

I thin it happended the same with door lights, i was changing lights with them turned on and it shorted.

You know these kick panels where fuses are located in this big block with fuses and relays? Maybe is problem inside of these block.

Some of these little pieces is blown maybe? Is it possible to repair it ?

did you try a new door jamb switch? do the doors lock on the driver door?
