Dome light problem LX470

I've got LX470 2005. The dome lights (front/rear) doesn't turn on when switched on door. Instead when it switched to door only, they are dimed. Where to look for a problem?
The trunk works as it should - bright/off/trunk open.

Start with clean contacts, new bulbs?

I’ve got the same issue with my trunk/rear 06 LC. The light never shuts off when on door. It dims to half brightness. Off works as it should. I’ve changed bulbs with no luck. Trying to find replacement....

Sorry to bump this old thread, but I have the same issue. It's not the door switches because the trunk compartment dome light works as it should.

My second row light fixture is brand new as I bought it to remove a flip down DVD player that some dealer must have installed.
