Did you guys end up going to Dokie Labour day weekend?
Did you go to the north of the Moberly river or south part?
Could a stock 4runner make it up there?

My Dad's coming up for a visit, I might try to get up there.

Yes we did endup going, there was a nasty washout that we had to dig up, sort of made it a highway, but could be bad again if the creek got any high water. the rest was easy. We went in from the Moberly (north) side.
Cheers,
Deny

No windmills yet, we ended up going up on North Dokie, not the same as the South Dokie pics in the other thread. There were a couple of people up there counting raptors. It was a bit more difficult getting up there that I had thought, the deactivations were almost to much for the 4runner but we made it. There were only quads up there the last few years and the trail had grown in quite a bit. I'd still like to try to get up on the south ridge someday. The bird counters says the road up to South dokie is better than the North so I should be able to get up there, Its getting a bit snowy for this year though.

How much snow do you figure is already up there?

I say one foot.

And how, praytell, would you know?

I did my secret snow-on-top-of-mountain calculation;p
