Long story short, had to change out my alternator. When going to put it back together I noticed this...The bottom mount broke. Is this part of the block? How would one go about fixing this. Been trying to brainstorm all day. But considering Im not the most mechanically inclined, but learning. I don't know all the tricks yet....2000 LC 2uzfe.

FYI new alternator is kicking butt at 14.2v LOL.

No, there is a bracket that bolts to the block, the alternator bolts to the bracket. Replace the bracket.

Thank you!!! I've been freaking out not knowing.

You're welcome.
Is this a OEM part only? Im not finding anything for a LC online. Each thing I click on leads me to something for a 3rd gen 4Runner. LOL

I posted the info you needed on the Facebook page.
But for everyone else he needs the timing belt cover.
You will have to buy brand new or from a junk yard. This is not going to be a aftermarket part, there is no market for it.

Hey! You did what I just thought about lol. I was also going to come here to post what you said. Seriously, Thank you so much for the help.

Is there a difference between the timing cover on a 2uz in a tundra vs the one in the land cruiser?

That I do not know. And honestly, if it is holding I wold leave well enough alone.
Maybe slap some JB Weld on it.

I am not certain from the photo (I think it is taken from underneath the vehicle near the passenger front wheel but not sure) but is that the belt tensioner pulley mount? If not it is the Timing cover. I replaced my tensioner and still have the old one; the mount is good. If I remember it mounts off the top stud though and is sandwhiched between the front of the motor and alternator.

I have probably not helped.
