Ok now I am really worried, I hopeing that the front axel bebuild would solve the click click click, but I guess from some of the feed back from my previous post that this is not the case.

Question: Will the rebuild kit buy me any time? ( the click click click is only there in when the wheels are turned to the max)

Thanks,
Russell

Russell,

It depends. Open both knuckles and compare the clicking side to the non-clicking side. If the wear is not too extreme but there's otherwise no other damage then pack everything with moly, switch sides and keep an eye/ear on it.

If you know the clicking one is damaged from wear then you're faced with sticking it back in or buying a replacement.

FYI, the rebuild kit is more accurately referred to as an axle service kit. It has gaskets, seals, and bearings. It has no "hard" parts like the internal birfield balls, star, cage, and tulip.
