I searched for Off-road driving school. Overland recreational, professional and military training. 4x4 travel. — Overland Experts
[EDIT] I searched for the name of their site overlandexperts dot come but mud posted it as a URL[/EDIT]
and the "eco-truck"

but I didnt find anything on mud. I clicked around their site but couldnt find any info on this vehicle or a similar one.

I really like that set up they built to replace the bed, I mean I really like that thing they drew and said they were going to build.....

Does that type of rear set up have a name? I have seen a few people make plans to build something similar but I dont think I have ever seen pictures of one completed. I think it is really interesting and I would appreciate any links to similar projects.
Thanks,
Zack.

Check out adventure trailers dot com.
They have a similar set up for tacoma's.....

This.

It appears I do not see the Tacoma+Adventure Trailer Bed Conversion on their website. There has to be a thread somewhere on Expedition Portal with pics of it.

I'll have to dig through my photo archives, but I'm pretty sure I have pics of the bed conversion.

This concept vehicle sketch has been around for years and it remains just that,a sketch of a concept vehicle
220 hp LOL,pull the other one,it plays jingle bells
The germans probably have the best (and most expensive) camper pods similar to this.

It's a cool design though. I had a feeling it never made it off paper though.

220 isn't as crazy as the 4" body lift and 38s on a "fuel efficient expedition rig"

posted with my thumbs.

I dont why some people think an expedition rig needs a 4inch body lift and 38s.
Makes me seriously think they have little real knowledge of travelling in remote areas.

And why is a bio diesel any more fuel effiicent than normal diesel? When your in the middle of nowhere,if there is fuel to be had ,it will be plain old diesel.
There wont be a hippy standing there selling canola based bio diesel:rolleyes:

I don't think they mean bio is more fuel efficient. Just diesel over all is better than gas and you have the option of using the "green fuel" when available. But I could be wrong. Maybe their body lift helps fuel mileage.

I like how they post 3'' of suspension lift + 4'' of body lift and say it has a low center of gravity......

Doesn't everybody's 3B output 220/300 hp/tq?

Those AT setups are neat looking but as far as actual, practical storage they seem a bit small.. not to mention you just painted a big target on your back for anybody looking for a spendy rig and/or gear to steal.
