Does anyone have experience with replacement Android Head Units and Ram Rom recommendations (1 Viewer)

I am looking at several Android Head Units. All of them have RAM ROM options. If you installed what was the RAM ROM size and were you happy with the performance? Was it snappy or slpw etc..

theres a dedicated thread here and on club lexus. Get the biggest amount of onboard memory and storage as android is terrible at running efficiently (these arent optimized like samsung or running near clean google images ). All units are 4g, no 5g modems so they have a hard eol date there. The units range in os version, last i saw was between 8-13, while android is currently on 14 (turn off any system updates as they may brick the unit).

My 2021 GX460 Navi/ Radio is allready EOL Lexus has already stopped supporting it. Lexus removed all the android apps 1 year ago

When you say "several", which ones stand out? I'm aware of Phoenix and carlinklife, but that's it for the 460. Just got my 2014 today, non ML system just like my old 470, which got taken out by an oak tree during Helene.

search Amazon, ebay, and other choices for GX460 android.

They are all about the same, but you pay more depending on location of seller and whether they have us based customer support.
