Dobinsons 2.5 Inch IMS Lift Kit Question...

I have been told that with these shocks, one can generate 3 inches out of them--albeit it is not advised.
Is this an option though when you eventually add heavier items like winches and bumpers--to regain some of the ride height due to the weight?

I’ve got the 3” dobinsons kit with SPC upper control arms. Went with new leafs and bushings in rear. It’s taller than 3” and I can still get into my 7’ garage. It’s stiff enough whereas you could add more weight and be just fine. Just installed WKOR sliders (heavy) and no noticeable ride difference.
