Do you have play in your front seats?

I don't mean do you get play while you are in the front seat, but does the seat back have over an inch of wiggle forward and back? It's kinda embarassing actually to have such a nice truck, but yet when someone gets in the seat, or if i'm backing up and put my hand on the passenger seat back, it wiggles several inches. I looked at the gear mechanism and it doesn't seem like anything's broken.

nope not here, I did look at one that has a loose bolt in the foot, the whole seat rocker back and forth.

I haven't got any play in the car for well over 4 years I think. Well actually I do have maybe about 1/2 inch in the drivers seat. The passenger seat is as tight as a 12 year old. Well, in todays society that might not be saying much, how about an 8 year old.

Really? ..........hmmmmm both the drivers and passenger seat wiggle a good inch front to back.

The back rest on my driver's seat has some play in it, I guess one day I will have to pull it and check the bolts attaching it to the bottom part of the seat. The passenger seat does not have any play.

Alex, I didn't think I had any, but I was sitting at a light on my lunch break and reached over to stretch and low and behold I have play in my seats. Probably only a 1/2" front to back motion in the seat back. I thought you meant 1" back and forth in the whole seat, like the bottom portion too.

Yea, talking about the seat back. Sorry, should have been more specific. Both my seats have it. I guess i get too much play in the seats!
