I cranked the t-bars on my 2000 TLC when i put an ARB front bumper on it. DS measures 20" from hub center to fender... PS 21" The DS has no more room to crank the t-bars PS still has several turns left. I have new(1 month old) Bilsteins all the way around. AS a side note the DS cv has started throwing grease. Any ideas ? Do I need new t-bars ?

Reindex your DS tbar to get more turns. Then take it up to 20.5" and bring down the PS to 20.5". Tbars will not affect the CV throwing grease. depending on how much grease has leaked, you can:

  1. reclamp your cv better clamps can be ordered through Mcmaster-Carr or if you dont want to do the leg work, Pfran has ordered them and put together little cv packages with the clamps for you.
  2. order a reboot kit from Cdan or Beno and reboot the leaking cv
  3. order an OEM cv to replace the leaking one, reboot the leaking one and keep as a trail spare.

If you have lifted your front end and did not add a diff drop, the combination of age on the CV and increased cv angles is why you are seeing leaks. Some run no diff drop and have had very few to no issues. Others find there CV's leak all the time.

Perfect.
Thanks

I had my front end at 22.5 on each side and ripped both of my cv boots. Not fun when you roll underneath to clamp em and realize there is a big tear through em both
