Just say "no" to 16.5" rims. They barely even make tires for that size anymore. Then you have the bead issue with them too.

Kind of what I was thinking... I found a set of 4 barely used 38x15.5R16.5 TSL's but I don't know if the guy wants to get rid of them or not, and 10 minutes of internet searching yielded very few rim options for me... Unless I want to go to 8 lug axles...

If I can get them for a song I may try selling them to fund some other tire options...

For wheels, I would run recentered H1 double beadlocks. You will be able to find tires in 16.5 because of how common that size was on full size trucks.

Any way you slice it, you are going to need some kind of beadlock. 16.5's don't have a lip for the bead to sit in.

16.5 bead issue as stated.

A friend has an old internation with 16.5" tires and 5 or 6 lug rims with special spacing (big) and the guy at the tire store sold him different size tires front and rear as they are hard to find and special order often.. I would stay away from the 16.5" stuff.

Treadwright will soon offer a 37x12.5r16.5 tire...but that's the only 16.5" sized tire they have. BFG also has their AT in a 35" flavor in the 16.5" size. Doesn't look like many choices out there.
