Would anyone be interested in a weld on DIY slider kit? DOM tubing, everything notched and pre bent, all frame plates and gussets, all you gotta do is fit and weld? Price point of about $400 plus shipping.

I would be interested. How much are already welded ones?

Sent from my SPH-L900

I'm not sure if I'm missing it or not, but are these "weld-on" or "bolt-on" sliders?

I don't see either attachment points for the frame.

Can you add a bump-out?

Yes

From the first post...

Let me be clear, I personally would not be making/selling these. I went to my local fab shop and told them what I wanted and they did it for me, I'm just trying to gauge interest to let them know if they could make a few and sell them. Final price point would totally be up to them and I just know what they charged me for what I got so I am shooting from the hip on price. If there is enough interest I will let them know and they can speak on price.

I'm interested, mainly because I cam from the minitruck market where slider's are <$200... I can't wrap my head around the better part of a grand for sliders... Tell your local fab shop to consider tube bumpers while they're at it...

I must have read your post too quickly and read "weld" as welding the pieces together rather than weld "on".

My mistake...

I've considered just taking a set of pickup DOM sliders from TG and chopping them to get the correct length for the Hundy...then weld a plate on top to hide the chop.

I wonder how much extension you would even need on the longer Tacoma extra cab sliders... Great idea!
