Hey fellas,
I want to make up some 3/8" hoses for my air compressor system (max press 200 psi) and was curious if anyone built your own hose ends. In the past, I've used the usual barbed ends that you shove into the ends of the hoses and use a warm gear clamp. Just looking for an alternative to going to the hydraulic hose shop.
Just to be clear, I'm not talking about building a short leader/whip hoses that are used for air tools. I need to make these up to transition from the hard pipe to point of use locations.
I was looking for a mechanical solution vs an expensive hydraulic crimp/swage solution.
Thanks.
