See plenty on what to do if you are putting in an aftermarket inplace of a factory diversity antenna headunit, but haven't seen anything about putting/finding an OEM diversity radio/CD headunit inplace of a crappy aftermarket POS (don't know what the previous owner was thinking).

So, I am looking for an OEM diversity antenna unit for my '96 FJ80, preferably with 6-disc CD-changer, and tapedeck (still have a couple hundred music cassettes and books-on-tape). I need to know whatever info I need to get one for my truck. I'm guessing I need years Toyota made diversity antenna units (as far as I've been able to find it was only 2003-2005, which seems an unusually short time to me), and what vehicle models were equipped with them (obviously not all models were). Then, I guess it's off to eBay or Craigslist...

Oh, and as far as I can tell, the only aftermarket diversity antenna head units sold (w/remote multi-CD changer) were from Blaupunkt, and boy were they expensive (and ugh-ly), and haven't been made for 7-8 years.

Unless someone knows of aftermarket models still being produced? I've looked, but no one seems to be making any.
