Yep, it’s under $10 for a motor and maybe an hour of labor. You might even find that your motor is fine and there’s just some corrosion on the little pins that plug into it. Just make sure you buy the motor with the right brass collar already attached as it makes the job a little bit easier.

This is the one I purchased last, but it was not for a 2006. I don’t imagine there is any difference. I do have a 2006 but was repairing my partners 2000.

The motor has power though, I can hear it trying to lock itself. That’s why I’m thinking it’s not a motor issue but something to do with the actuator assembly. I’m nervous about tearing the water proofing sheath though when i disassemble the door

Nice LX you got there, is it an 06 or 07?

Its an 06. Thank you.

Its easy enough to peel the plastic away and press it back when done. Its unlikely to be broken but just sticky and worn. I used a drop of silicone grease in the assembly, cleaned the switches in the actuator and lubed the cable. Ive also sprayed out an old motor with cleaner and resurrected a door that way. The gears and everything else were perfect in that case.

If anything its also pretty easy to get in to the motor to check. Id spend the hour or so, but I like to fix vs replace and everyones skills are different.
