Distributor connections (1 Viewer)

Dumb query here
Put new plug wire set on & the center wire on the distributor is missing…. (From old set) What/ where does it connect to?

A picture speaks a thousand words? Are you talking about coil lead?

Yes but i dnt see any change connection point on the coil

Wow..found the solution There was a wire plugged into the coil but itt was strung between the ps fender & the cannister on the firewall
I realize this was a novice question and i really appreciate the help
