Display OBD2 info in CarPlay (1 Viewer)

Recently installed a CarPlay Pioneer radio in the 100. Is there a way to display the OBD2 info on screen? I know I can use a wireless ELM and communicate that way through an app on my phone, but wanted to see if anyone knew another way.

I think the answer will be no, because Apple sets the type of apps allowed on CarPlay. I don't have any hard evidence for this opinion, and honestly I hope you can get it to work.

iDatalink-Maestro is an option on my Kenwood head unit, just not through Car Play.

I have maestro on my car, Maestro is not able to get data from the car. It’s only for steering and phone control options. I have a 04 Lx

Just an FYI on this older thread, I have *heard* that we can't get the OBD data to display because of the limitations of the 100 series LC's CANBUS... I have a Pioneer NEX8400 and would love to get the OBD data too...
