Have a disc brake front axle from a 1977 FJ40. I am thinking of using a mid 80's one ton 2wd brake booster and master the info below is what I have found. Anyone done this. I know of the issue on mounting to the firewall and looks like JT Outfitters makes a spacer or at least they use to. Anyone know the part number?

A call to my parts guy showed the following for a 80's one-ton truck 2wd:
they are broken down by year
1980-1983
1984
1985-1988

looks to me like the 1980-1983 would be the best bet for me as the booster is thinner than the later model ones. This is going into a 1966 FJ 45lwb pu so space is an issue. My parts guy quoted me 140.00 for a rebuilt booster comes with the check valve and 112.00 for a new brake master

I have the 80-83 booster on my LPB too. I bought an FZJ80 master cylinder without ABS though for my master. You should be good to go once you get the spacer.

I think algazy (65swb45) has spacers or did have them at one time.

Thanks for the referral Rodney. The fact of the matter is I only have three of the adapters left. One will go in the Code Red project, one in "The FJ45" project, and one will go into my lwb when I am done with theirs. I have no plans to make another production run on them.

Might want to ask cruzila if he wants to have a go at making one based on the old Warden design. I think Scott and Danny still talk.;)
