I will be having cardiac bypass surgery soon and it is too difficult to ride in the backseat. Is there a way to disable the front and side passenger airbags? I can't drive and have to protect my chest for 3 or 4 months.

Thanks

Any accident that's severe enough to deploy the airbags will likely cause more you more injury than the airbag itself (i.e., seatbelt trauma, ejection through the windshield, etc.). However, best of luck on your surgery.

Probably best to contact the dealer about this, I know they have had kits for some vehicles in the past.
