I'm super impressed that you guys chose to bivy unexpectedly rather than take a risk. It's a rare group that will discuss and do the right thing like that. Shows good trip leadership, and a smart group. I wish all backcountry travelers would use the most important tool they have more often so I wouldn't get 2am calls to go out and look for them when I'd rather be sleeping. Nice writeup and pictures.
