I suspect I'll have to yank the rear rotors again...

I worked on the e-brake adjustment and decided to take the lazy approach and simply adjust the brake shoes out by turning the "star". I was in a bit of a rush this afternoon and it seemed like it should've worked fine.

The good news is that it did help with the ebrake lever. The ebrake will now hold.

The bad news is that the brake light on the dash illuminates, but not at full. If I pull the ebrake handle, the light glows brightly. When I release the handle (i.e. not set the ebrake), the light remains on, but it's very dim. I didn't notice it being on this afternoon when I finished the job, but could easily see it at night.

What do you guys think? Leave it alone? Take it apart and do it the right way (yeah, there's always time to do it again the right way  ).

Maybe adjust the brake shoes in a little bit to release some of the tension that might be in the e-brake cable? The e-brake handle is not at all tight...meaning that I still have to pull the handle up (about half way) to engage the e-brake.

Any thoughts and comments would be appreciated.
I will be working on the brakes tomorrow -- Sunday, in preparation for CM05.

Bingo.
Light's out. It must've been the sensor in the master res cap.

Thanks Rick!
