Differences in lexus and land cruiser seat

So i bought replacement leather that was on sale, but it was for a LX450 and I own a 97 land cruiser. I have read in a few other threads that there are some differences in the tow seats. I was wondering if anyone had any experience with replacing the leather in a land cruiser with lx450 leather and what are the differences in the seats. Am I SOL?

What color is your cover? I may be interested. I have an "Ivory" (tan) interior. By the way I just purchased a new driver's side front cushion from Lexus for my LX450 and it was reportedly one of 7 left in the US, per the dealer. So if you are considering replacement of the foam with an original you may want to act now. The price was $262.00 from Lexus of Reno where I'll pick it up. Another dealer in Utah quoted me $285.00 plus shipping.

Is this entirely correct? My '97 LX has the same exact seats, except color, as my dad's '93 Toyota. I have a friend who's '96 Toyota has the same color as me, but a totally different seat. Can anybody explain this?

The seat frame and mechanicals are 100% the same. I guarantee you the foam and the leather are 100% different between LC and LX.

Here is pic of the replacement seat leather to see what it looks like and in case if someone is interested. I almost just want to take the old leather off just to make sure it does not fit.

What other options do LX owners have when Lexus runs out of seat foam? Will upholstery shops shape me foam for our seats. I guess we have to purchase our seat foam from Lexus dealers. I hate dealing with their parts people. It is hard for them to live up to our expectations of service that Beno and Dan give us.
