Differences between 100 series and FJ Cruiser

I like the FJC as it's a wonderful platform from Toyota to compete with the Jeep fags out there

The reality is that the majority of us are going to become FJC drivers 10-15 years from now. Or maybe 4Runner drivers. Why? There's virtually very few LC's that will be hitting the used vehicle market after about 2005 MY. And vehicle supply worsens to an almost insignificant number for the 200's. I just wonder how the FJC's will hold up in the 150k-250k mile range. Hopefully they're as good as the 80's and 100's.

I wonder what the Tundra crew cab #'s look like in terms of future inventory? On the surface it may be an option although I'm not overly familiar with the Tundra/Sequoia platform.

The cargo capacity of the 100 is hard to step back from.

Future inventory may not be as bleak as we think. Fact is a certain % of people on this forum and other related forums have school girl crushes on Toyota products and will move on to another brand in the future including Jeeps (then they'll be preaching about their solid front axles and how much better they are than IFS -blah blah blah). Once the novelty of their mods wears off along with their supposed brand loyalty - their LC enthusiast hard-on will wane. Others have been converted permanently or born Toyota fans. I'm on my fourth Toyota and anticipate a 5th, 6th, etc.
