This is a problem for all of us to consider;

1 52380-60030 SUPPORT ASSY, 1 1 $162.69

2 52380-60040 SUPPORT ASSY, 1 1 $162.69

Part call out 41181 also has a bushing I didn't get a price or part number on that

You can't really see it in my picture but the rubber bushing is shot, I am not pleased with the prospect of spending ~$150 each to replace them. I'm guessing the diff cover part will be higher than the other two so for all three we are talking >$400 probably in the vicinity of $500-$600.

I think we need to find a better solution.

SAS is looking more viable all the time :)

The lack of just bushing replacement is rude.

While the brackets are out lets get an od, width and bore I'd to see if there's another bushing that just happens to be interchangeable.

Yeah, I replaced mine last year I believe during the 90k. I liked when my engine mount was completely ripped in half. Thankfully there was a stack of spare mounts from all the V8 purchases Slee has made.

I stopped by the gear place this AM to drop off the correct ARB Air seal and took a look at the diff cover bushing. It is worn and a little cracked but nothing like the support bracket bushings. I'd say if you wanted to replace the bushings it would probably be safe to leave the diff cover one alone unless the other two were completely shot.

Rusty,

I'll be at Pyramid Lake fishing this Friday (March 22) but I can help you reinstall on Saturday...

Update to this thread: Although Toyota only lists the front differential cover with integral bushing for '98-'01 Onur, after spending time digging, found the bushing listed as an available separate part # for '02-'07 LC. Further, he verified the differential cover is the same part # from '98-'07 so it stands to reason the bushing will be able to be used separately...rather than replacing the entire and expensive front diff cover just to get the rubber support bushing.

I should receive this bushing and know 100% whether our assumption is correct...within the next couple of days.

Still doesn't help the wallet pain having to purchase the other two front support arms with bushings...rather than being able to purchase just the bushings with press out/in to refresh.
