I'm planning to make the Lexus a bit taller, and I want to get a Differential Drop kit. As I understand, it's a pretty competitive market place my options are as follows (let me know if I missed something):

Slee Offroad - $245 USD
Ironman 4x4 - $249 USD
Dobinsons - $250 USD
Trail Tailor - $220 USD
Nitro - $288.75 USD
Bump it Offroad - $245 USD
Superior Engineering - $250 AUD + god knows how much to ship

Are any of these kits better than the others or worse than the others? Interested in your experiences and knowledge. If they are all about the same, I suppose I'll just see what Black Friday has to offer. Thanks for your insights!
 
I recently installed a Trail Tailor. Went in just fine with no modifications etc. Easy install.

They’re all basically the same.
 
Only need it if you're going 2 inch lift and up. Some have gone years without one and lifted 2+inches without issue.

Does a diff drop kill the front prop shaft faster? (Or bring out issues with an old/worn shaft?)

It reduces the angle on the CV joints. If you are putting a suspension lift on your vehicle, then your CV joint angles will increase, which can increase wear and lead to failure; the diff drop corrects the angles. I've never heard of prop shafts having any issues as a result of a diff drop.

I understand it has a positive effect on the CV's, but it's giving the propshaft an angle (although a small one) - hence the question.

Are they all built with the same material(type and size)/weight/dimensions/weld types(MIG,TIG,Laser)...same types of hardware provided?
It'd be easier to assign cost/value if all of this information was provided.

I've watched Westcott Designs videos discuss their detailed build process. I'd like to see everyone provide the same info.

My CVs are fine with the diff drop, but brand new Toyota driveshaft seal only lasted a couple months before it started to leak. Win some, lose some.

But that's less of an issue with the diff drop versus the same suspension height without a diff drop.
