diesel swap fj62(12v)+2h(24v)

hey guys
im putting a 2h into my fj62.

ive pulled the 3fe and cleaned the engine bay of the 62 so far, todAy i will pull the 2h out of the hj60. install should be starting tomorow.

the 2h is 24v and id like my rig back on the road as soon as possible and i have only to start thinking about the wiring.

i am doing this swap at my brothers//buddys shop here in missisauga(dixie&dundas). i have lots of room and tool

anyways if anyone would like to come down to help, comment or even just come look at at is going on, you are more then welcome.

there wil be beers/drinks and food as required

i will defenatly be needing help for the wiring

hey simon, does your shop by any chance back out onto the GO train tracks? i usually see a brown 60 series wagon at the back of an industrial area and it's around the dundix area...

there are train tracks near but i dont know of any brown cruiser around.

and i figure as long as i keep this project going it'll get done. i did have 2 functioning cruisers so i should be able to make 1 of the two

the plan right now is to get the 24v harness in the 62.

both engines have been pulled.

i go to the shop after work during weekday until i cant keep my eyes open, so 4pm-10. on the weekend im there at 9-10am to midnite...
i dont think i will be there today(thursday) since i gtg get parents at the airport...

unless you have already started on the elec there is a VERY easy way to complish this.

I figured there might be a problem with the headlights.

you might just want to wire up one of those stand alone harnesses I was talking about

check out this link. Just a reference for the harness you don't have to buy all the upgraded lenses.

i will look into it, thanks for the info, i blew on of the bulb the other nite...and i got a trip to the us planned to get a 24v winch so i dont know if ill get time b4 weekend...will have to make the time...
